Equipments: board, plastic mirrors, sticks, thin metal wires.
As it can be seen mirrors on either side of the space can reflect off each other when the sleeping platforms are up against the wall creating an illusion like space. When the inhabitants are in the space they will be seeing endless reflections of themselves and their roommate. I wanted to create a space like this, in relation to the concept of sleep and awake because mirrors are an interesting material to use that helps create illusion. Every time the inhabitants walk into the space, to them it would be like walking into a dream where they can see endless clones of themselves.
When the sleeping platforms are in use and NOT against the wall, the mirrors that stand alone on the other side of the room will still be reflecting everything in the space, so to the strangers it would seem like they are not alone in the space when they are sleeping. It would be like being in a dream with clones of themselves (their reflections) even when they are awake. In this sense the sleeping space that I have made within the site is like a dreaming space on its own, during all times of the day.
