SEM 1- Project 3 – Sleeping Platform drawings

I have decided to make a sleeping platform that is attached to the walls of the gallery and can be pushed against the wall when not in use and when using it, it needs to be pulled down. I put the sleeping platforms next to each other so the two strangers (university students) can talk and get to know each other. There is a bathroom/toilet/laundry area and a dining/ studying area. I decided not to put a formal kitchen in the space since students mostly prefer dining in cafes and restaurants.

The two drawings on the right show top views of when the sleeping platforms are up against the wall and when they are down.

Here I wanted to experiment with reflection of mirrors, light and dull light.
