These are a few models that I made in relation to the concept of sleeping and waking. The idea I was focusing on was dreams or nightmares. The models are made by using certain features of my drawing to create a space that shows what goes on in a person’s mind when they are dreaming. The models in the pictures below have been arranged in different orders from dark/light, dream/certainty and interior/exterior.

Interior and exterior
Dan Flavin is an artist that makes sculptures, objects, and installations from colorful fluorescent lights. His works can be seen with some horizontal and vertical aspects to it. The idea of glowing lines is interesting and I plan to use this as inspiration for my final model. The idea of one line or many lines relates well to my A2 drawing and so I want to keep this aspect in my final model.
